Job Description
Carden Christian Academy is seeking a passionate Part-Time Social Studies Teacher to instruct students in 1st grade and above 2x/week (Social Studies curriculum is delivered on a two-year rotation between lower and upper grade classrooms). This role focuses on educating the whole child’s mind, body, and spirit while fostering a nurturing and structured environment where students thrive.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Education or related field preferred)
  • Experience (3 years minimum) teaching elementary/middle grades
  • Availability for 2x per week

Responsibilities

  • Prepare lesson plans aligned with grade-level standards
  • Deliver engaging social studies lessons
  • Assess student understanding and progress
  • Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment

Compensation: Starting at $19 per hour depending on experience and credentials
